Run for Healthy Kids

United Way of Essex and West Hudson in partnership with Newark Public Schools, the Newark Museum and the Nicholson Foundation are hosting our second annual Night at the Museum. Our partners have invited parents and pre-schoolers to attend a summer learning fair, in which teachers and other school staff present mini-lessons with strategies to help pre-schoolers engage in math and reading over the summer. Additionally, we will offer food, prizes and book giveaways. We are looking for volunteers for two shifts 12PM-4PM and 4PM-8PM for set up, participant flow, distributions and clean up. Volunteers will have the opportunity to engage with NPS staff, parents and students. Join us!
