UWEWH’s 10 year income goal: to cut in half the number of lower-income families who are financially unstable.

In Essex and West Hudson counties 28% of families are financially unstable. With your help, by 2020, UWEWH and its partners will ensure that 74,000 working families will be economically independent.

We plan to accomplish this goal with partners in our communities by utilizing tools and strategies that help families:

  1. Increase Income
  2. Build Savings
  3. Gain and Sustain Assets

Our programs include:

  1. Individual Development Accounts (IDAs)
