George Xuereb has been working with the United Way of Essex and West Hudson since the fall of 2001. Born in Toronto, Canada, George has been with the United Way for nearly a decade. George has been responsible for a variety of areas during his tenure. His scope of work currently includes directing both the Public and Private Sector fundraising activities as well as managing the agency campaign. In addition, George provides additional oversight in the areas of Community Impact, public relations and event management.

In 2002, George graduated from United Way's Project Leadership Program. Prior to this, he obtained a Certificate in Public Relations from Ryerson Polytechnic University in Toronto. George received his bachelor's degree from University of Toronto.
