The United Way of Essex and West Hudson convenes crisis response teams comprised of key stakeholders who will offer support, advocate and develop capacity building strategies to address the emergent needs of county residents affected by a major disaster situation.

United Way believes that Essex County should provide a caring community by serving victims, their families and those negatively impacted by disaster situations in a coordinated, professional and comprehensive manner.
